Our gold plated sterling silver is of high quality. However, as with any plated jewellery, there are a few steps you need to take to protect the longevity of your pendant.
It is important to remove your plated jewellery when showering or swimming. The chemicals will begin to erode the surface. Avoid other nasties like nail polish, nail polish remover, perfumes and lotions. Let perfume sink into your skin for a few minutes before putting on your jewellery.
When cleaning, use a soft cloth to remove dirt, but do not use a silver polishing cloth as this will strip the plating.
